New Partners Announced

The Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the following team members have been promoted to Vice President of Pugh CPAs  effective immediately:  Brandon Barry, Jacob Pratt, and Kristin Garrett.

Brandon Barry VP of TaxBrandon joined the tax department of Pugh CPAs in 2015.  He graduated from the University of Louisiana Monroe with a B.S. in Business Administration.  He has extensive experience with federal and multi-state taxation for individuals and closely-held businesses, including real estate companies, manufacturers, service providers, and others.  Brandon is also  actively involved in recruiting and training for the tax department.  He has served on several committees of TSCPA, both statewide and locally.

 

Jacob joined the tax department of Pugh CPAs in 2013.  He received both his undergraduate degree and Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee.  He has extensive experience in federal and multi-state taxation for individuals and closely-held businesses including real estate companies, wholesalers, restaurants, and other industries.  Jacob has served the United Way as a loaned executive. He is also very involved in recruiting and training for the tax department.

 

Kristin has been with Pugh CPAs since 1986. She has worked in both the audit and tax departments. After a short time in private industry, she returned to Pugh and took the position of Director of Administration  in 2007.  Kristin manages the firm’s support staff and internal accounting systems.  Kristin also serves on the firm’s Information Technology Committee.  In addition, she works closely with the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors and makes sure the operations of the firm are going smoothly.

 

Please join us in congratulating  Brandon, Jacob and Kristin.   We are so proud of these three (3) individuals and we look forward to their leadership of the firm over the coming years.
